CSG has marked its first year in the Kerry Junior Inter Firms competition with a spectacular achievement, being crowned Kerry County Champions in our debut season.
The final took place in Caherslee against Fexco of Killorglin. Despite days of heavy rain, the pitch held up brilliantly, creating perfect conditions for a fast paced and exciting contest.
Under the leadership of captain and manager Anthony Darmody, our squad delivered a calm and determined performance. Every player who wore the blue jersey this season showed outstanding dedication, reflecting the teamwork and togetherness that define the CSG spirit.
This success is not just a sporting milestone. It represents the strong community and culture within CSG, where colleagues support each other, celebrate each other, and take pride in shared achievements both inside and outside the office. The encouragement from staff across the firm is a reminder that CSG is at its best when we come together as one team.
The second half brought a surge of intensity.
• Eoin McCarthy and Michael Kelleher both found the net to shift momentum toward CSG.
• Daniel Flynn produced several crucial saves that kept Fexco at bay.
Fexco fought hard to stay in the game, but three late unanswered CSG points secured the result.

A fully deserved win for the boys in blue. We are thrilled to now progress to the Munster Inter Firms, an exciting next step for this incredible group and another proud moment for the CSG community.
